Full Tuition Leeds University Business School Economics Division Scholarship in UK

The University of Leeds is offering a full scholarship to the Business School Economic Division to all outstanding applicants for the academic year 2021/2022.

This scholarship offer is open to domestic and international applicants and covers full tuition fees for those wishing to pursue a PhD program.

The program provides the following tuition costs:

The scholarship covers full tuition fees at the standard University of Leeds rate.
A maintenance stipend at the UKRI standard rate (£15,285 in session 2020/21).

Application Details

  • To apply for this scholarship, you should follow the steps below:
  • Step 1: Apply for a research studentship first by completing a research studentship application form. You are expected to meet our admission criteria for doctoral students, including English language requirements, if your native language is not English, once you receive your student ID number (a nine-digit number), go to Step 2.
  • Step 2 – apply for the Leeds University Business School Economics Division studentship by working through the application form found here.
  • Supporting documents: Applicants must submit a copy of your degree transcript, a transcript or partial transcript if you are still a student, a personal statement, two academic references, a current resume, and a letter of recommendation if required.
  • Admission Requirements: Applicants must meet the university’s admission requirements for admission.
  • Language Requirement: The minimum English language entrance requirement for research postgraduate study in the Leeds University Business School is an IELTS equivalent of 7.0 overall with at least 6.0 in each component (reading, writing, listening and speaking). The test must be taken within two years prior to the start of the course to be valid.
