Merit International Scholarships at Florida International University are now available to all international students of all majors.

Scholarship Benefits:

Florida International University offers the successful students a scholarship that covers 75% of tuition costs and also provides books in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be enrolled as regular high school students and intend to attend a university full-time after graduation;
Be citizens of the United States, legal residents of the United States, or international students applying for an F-1 visa to study in the United States.

Application Procedure:

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must complete undergraduate studies at Florida International University. After that, applicants must apply through their MyFIU portal.

Required supporting documents: Applicants must complete and submit the appropriate documents: Pre-qualification diploma, copies of certificates, English language proficiency certificates, a statement, and a copy of passport.

Conditions for Admission: To be admitted, students must meet the basic scholarship requirements: A grade point average of at least 4.0 and an SAT score of 1280 or 27 ACTs. These criteria may vary by program.

Language eligibility: students who graduated from a non-English speaking country must take an English test and score 550 on paper, 80 online on the TOEFL, or 6.5 on the IELTS.
